Steve Marshall worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 42 years. During his last decade with the Agency he oversaw its wood product market development work. This included creating the Wood Innovations Program and playing a key role in the introduction of cross laminated timber into the U.S. Today Steve advises people on how to enter and flourish in the rapidly growing mass timber market. He has assembled design and construction teams for projects nationwide, aided in factory investment decisions, and advised investors seeking entry points into the sector. In addition to his consulting, Steve is Co-Founder of Mosaic Timber which is plans to build the first mass timber production factory in California.
